My Home Hero Suspense Manga Receives TV Anime Adaptation

In this week’s edition of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine, it was revealed that the crime and suspense manga, My Home Hero, by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki will be inspiring a TV anime adaptation.

Alongside this announcement, the manga also resumed its third and final part in the 29th issue of Weekly Young Magazine. The final arc picks the story back up seven years after the second part, which went on hiatus in October. A new visual for the announcement was also revealed.

About My Home Hero

My Home Hero is a Japanese manga series written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Masashi Asaki. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine since May 2017.

The manga centers on a salaryman who has a reliable wife and a daughter in university who can sometimes act a bit rebellious, but has a happy life in his own way. Until one day he finds out his daughter has been beaten, and thus begins his journey into a dangerous world to protect his family.
