Aniplex announced that the first paid DLC featuring Tengen Uzui of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles will release this July for JPY$550 on all available platforms, including the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. A new promotional video featuring the in-game 3D animation of Tengen Uzui was also revealed.
The Additional Character Pack is a series of paid downloadable content featuring several new characters that can be used in the Versus Mode of the game. The first release will feature Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira.
Six more characters who also appeared in the Entertainment District Arc anime will be available for purchase in a series of periodic updates, including Nezuko (Advanced Demon Form), Tanjiro (Entertainment District), Zenitsu (Entertainment District), Inosuke (Entertainment District), Daki, and Gyutaro. All DLC will be released before the end of 2022 and a DLC pack including all of the above characters will be on sale for JPY$2,970.

The action-packed console game allows players to experience the world of the anime series first-hand in two epic modes: play as Tanjiro Kamado and slash through demons in Adventure Mode, and face off against your favorite characters in Versus Mode.
The Adventure Mode rebuilds the significant moments from the anime series in full 3D graphics, which includes the events of Unwavering Resolve Arc where Tanjiro began his journey, and fought a variety of demons, as well as Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train where he was accompanied by the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
