The real-time cooperative RPG, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is coming to Nintendo Switch! Alicization Lycoris is the first time the series’ anime storyline is being retold in a video game format and puts players in the expansive world of SAO’s Underworld! There is no release window set for the switch version. The game is also available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC via Steam.

Alicization Lycoris is based on the Alicization arc of Sword Art Online, in which Kirito and his group are caught up in the government’s top-secret plan to develop an advanced AI, indistinguishable from humans control JSDF weaponry. The game follows part of the anime’s story up until the administrator’s defeat, and an original story after the events of the anime! Battle enemies in real-time action combat with a party either solo or with other players online! The game’s Ancient Apostles DLC will also be made available at a later time.
