The staff behind the television anime adaptation of Kyo Shirodaira’s novel In/Spectre released a new trailer for the show’s second season! The trailer gives us a look at Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurō Sakuragawa’s new adventure, and a preview of Masayuki Muroi voiced by Makoto Furukawa, and the Yuki-Onna voiced by Aoi Yuki. In/Spectre’s second season premieres in January 2023.

The story revolves around Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurō Sakuragawa, two unique individuals who were touched by Yokai, gaining additional powers, but in exchange for these powers, Kotoko had to give up an eye and a leg whilst Kuro’s personal life is a mess. Together they team up to deal with renegades from the spirit world.
The series is originally a novel series published by Kodansha and written by Kyo Shirodaira with illustrations by Hiro Kyohara and since volume 2, by Chasiba Katase. A manga adaptation with art by Chasiba Katase has been serialized since April 2015 in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Magazine R. The anime’s first season was broadcasted in January 2020.
