Futabasha confirmed that Kazuha Kishimoto’s light novel series, Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu (Summoned to Another World for a Second Time) is being adapted into a TV anime. The announcement also unveiled the anime’s lead cast member, and staff, along with a teaser visual.
The story focuses on Setsu, a young man who was summoned to another world to become a hero, and after saving the world lived a life of relative peace and popularity. One day he gets caught up a trap and is sent back to his original world as a baby, and once he reaches high school he gets summoned again to another world!
Motoki Nakanishi is directing the anime at Studio Elle, alongside script supervisor Yukihito, and Mikako Kunii on character design. Shunichi Toki has been cast to play the main character, Setsu. The anime currently has no release date.
▍Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu Story
After rescuing a world he was summoned to from calamity, Setsu lived a life of peace and excess popularity. One day however he falls into a trap and is forcibly returned to his original world, and had to start over his life as a baby. Living his life again as a gloomy high schooler, this ex-hero is once again called to action, as he is suddenly summoned once again to that same world he saved to once again save it!
