The anime’s third season will follow the manga’s Harvest Festival Arc, where Iruma and his demon classmates enter the forest to start a new competition. Makoto Moriwaki returns from the previous seasons to direct the anime in Bandai Namco Pictures, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu also returns to write the scripts.

Osamu Nishi writes the original Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun manga, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion since March 2017. The anime’s season one started airing in Fall 2019 and ran for a total of 23 episodes until March 2020. Season 2 ran for a total of 21 episodes starting in April and ending in September 2021.

The series follows Iruma Suzuki, a 14-year-old human boy, who is sold to a demon by his parents. The demon, known as Sullivan, takes Iruma to the Demon World and officially adopts him as his grandson. He enrolls Iruma in the Babyls School for Demons where he is the headmaster, and where Iruma quickly befriends the demons Alice Asmodeus and Clara Valac.

However, Sullivan tells Iruma to never reveal that he is a human since he will be eaten if anyone finds out. Iruma then vows to blend in during his time in the Demon World, although he only stands out due to all the situations and adventures that arise.
