Sega unveiled a new trailer detailing Soul Hackers 2‘s Devil Summoning and Combat gameplay. Learn more about how the game opreates, and how to assign demons, and exploit enemy weakness to unleash Ringo’s special attack, the Sabbath!
Soul Hackers 2 launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on August 26.

Taking place in the SMT universe in the 21st century, a war between two opposing factions of Devil Summoners, the Yatagarasu and Phantom Society begin to threaten the world. Detecting the looming threat, the world’s watcher Aion sends down part of itself as two entities, Ringo and Figue to save humanity from the apocalypse, while slowly becoming in touch with humanity, and learning the beauty behind mankind’s differences.
▍Soul Hackers 2 Gameplay
Soul Hackers 2 is a turn-based RPG. Players fight devils using COMPS, a special gadget that allows Devil Summoners to embody, and use the power of demons. Enemies have elemental weaknesses and traits that you can abuse, allowing you to swiftly take down enemies. As the player progresses and bonds with team mates, you can learn and upgrade skills, granting buffs and stat boosts to your party.

The game is available in multiple editions, console players will have access to a standard digital edition, and a 25th-anniversary edition. The standard edition contains the base game, while the 25th-anniversary edition also comes with a digital music album, an anniversary book, Mary’s Maid Set DLC, Ai-Ho DLC Demon, and the base game
Steam players on the other hand will have a digital deluxe edition and a digital premium edition. The digital deluxe edition comes with bonus cash, incense, and EXP packs, with an additional scenario called “Lost Numbers” The digital premium edition grants the same bonuses, while also giving six Costumes and BGMs from Atlus’ other games, a bonus demons pack, Mary’s Maid Set DLC, and the Ai-Ho Bonus demon DLC.
All players that pre-order on Steam will get the Persona 5 Alternative Set Two DLC, letting players dress their team up as the Phantom Thieves!
