Nintendo’s E3 spotlight has just concluded, ending with the release date 27th October 2017.
Super Mario Odyssey is an open-world exploration-adventure which has Mario traversing all sorts of different kingdoms. Players will interact with different characters and solve different puzzles to solve quests. Each Kingdom also has their own currency and shops which will have items players can buy to dress up Mario.
In Super Mario Odyssey, Mario can take over enemies with his hat, Cappy. Asides from over taking enemies, Cappy allows Mario interact with different elements in the various kingdoms, from traveling through wires by turning into electricity, to bouncing off poles to reach greater heights.
The main adversaries Mario will face in Super Mario Odyssey is the Broodals, an evil wedding planning company hired by Bowser.
Nintendo has also revealed three Super Mario Odyssey Amiibo as seen below.
Super Mario Odyssey is due out 27th October 2017.
