Captain Tsubasa: Tatakae Dream Team
キャプテン翼 ~たたかえドリームチーム~

Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Shallow contents, character stats are everything."
"If they could re-create the bugs from the original version, then this game would be perfect!"
"Thought this game would be terrible, but the gameplay turned out to be quite fun!"

Gameplay is similar to Venus Eleven Vivid!. The game’s effects feels quite original and the 3D models stay true to the original series to cash in on childhood memories.

Although the game is just a mobile port of the classic Captain Tsubasa game on Famicom, the game still has a guaranteed playability. As a mobile game, it’s hard to escape the gacha system and Captain Tsubasa is no exception. After a while, it could feel a little repetitive and the imbalance of characters will show itself.

Lineage2 Revolution

Gamer Reactions:
"A little disappointing… it feels like a free-to-play browser MMO…"
"So boring, the second you log in its all auto. Don’t even know why I’m playing…"
"The graphics are incredible and it has a certain nostalgic feeling to it. Should have brought back the old Lineage team to play!"

Intricate graphics, but the gameplay is still a mobile MMORPG. New players may be put off by the auto-questing system, but developers has also put a lot of attention on guild battles and raids, especially class settings. Clearly, the game was made to allow players to adopt different play styles.

But people have asked, what makes the game so special? What makes it different from other mobile games? To put it simply, because it’s a Lineage title.

Destiny 6
데스티니6

Korean Gamer Reactions:
"The story is actually quite well written. It really compels you to keep playing!"
"SD heroes are so cute! Having both auto and manual elements makes the game pretty interesting!"
"High quality graphics, dark characters really gives off a gloomy impression, but still has a certain cuteness to it."

The process of grinding dungeons and leveling characters all point towards another Seven Knights gameplay. However, the game has a few new features added to the combat.

Whilst characters will move on their own, players can override the direction to avoid AoE attacks. With the correct timing, players can also stun bosses with certain skills after avoiding an attack, creating an opportunity to deal massive damage.

The cutesy characters of the game has a certain joyful touch. Unfortunately, the game is only available in Korean right now…

Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Really though the app version would help sales, bit it ended up flopping."
"So many bugs, I’m sticking with the browser verison."
"The UI makes it so hard to play the game…"

Another mobile port of one of DMM’s browser games. The game revolves around great authors throughout history. In terms of gameplay, Touken Ranbu players may be able to spot the similarities.
Although the game has attracted quite a few players, the game’s sales don’t look so positive.

Many comments for the app version has stated that the game doesn’t give the same experience as the browser version and that the UI is very un-user friendly (i.e. the font being too small).
Occasionally, players experience bugs, including being stuck in the tutorial screen.

Hopefully, officials will do something about this asap and deliver a game that can actually be played on-the-go.
