The Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer anime released a new trailer for the anime’s upcoming second cour, which will premiere on October 8
The new trailer features the show’s second opening theme song, “BE the HERO” by artist Raon, and revealed the ending theme song to be “ZERO” by Sano Ibuki. The two artists also released comments on their songs being added to the show, commenting on how they both used to read the original manga until it ended back in 2010, and their thoughts on being a part of the show.

I read the original story of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer when I was little, so I am very happy that the work has been adapted into an anime, and I’m honored to be singing the OP for the show! I was super excited and loved working on the lyrics, which I wrote directly from my memories of the original story I read so long ago. I have always loved Japanese anisongs, and I am so happy that my original song was finally chosen as the theme song for the anime!
I will do my best to make Raon’s voice reach as many people as possible through this work!

I was in charge of the ending theme for Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, “Zero”.
I read the original work until it ended several years ago. I’ll be 26 years old this year, butwhen I read this work, my boyish heart cried out deep within me, and I ran out of my house and kept running, regardless of how old I am. Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is a great piece of work that reminds us of loss, and also of joy. When we made this wong we were asked to make an ending song that matched the opening, and I’ll be happy if fans consider this to be the best BGM for those coming across this work for the first, or second time. Thank you very much.

Yuuhi Amamiya is a young, unsociable college student who wakes up to find a lizard on his bed. The lizard proclaims Yuuhi to be chosen as a Beast Knight, a person destined to help a Princess defeat a Mage seeking world destruction through the giant mallet in the sky. While Yuuhi is uninterested, he changes his mind when he meets the Princess, Samidare Asahina, who tells him that after she defeats the mage and saves the world, she’ll destroy it herself.
