Persona Games on Modern Platforms Announcement

About Persona 3 Portable

Persona 3 Portable was first released in 2009 in Japan for PSP as P3P. It quickly stood out for being the series’ first title that offered a female protagonist option. The title continued to garner adoring fans with the production of a four-part animated film series which was first released in 2013 in Japan.

Persona 3 follows a group of high school students trying to cope with, understand and accept death in a world surrounded by it, as well as find their own reasons for living. They form a group called SEES in order to investigate the Dark Hour, a mysterious time period between one day and the next that few people are aware of.

About Persona 4 Golden

First released in 2012 for PlayStation Vita, Persona 4 Golden can be seen as a director’s cut of the original PS2 release, adding features and quality of life improvements in comparison.

Later, it launched for PCs on Steam in 2020, and sold 1 million copies worldwide, quickly becoming one of Steam’s most-played games. But now, console players can enjoy this highly acclaimed title on XBOX and PlayStation 5.

Persona 4 takes place in fictional Inaba and follows high-school student Yu Narukami, who moved into the countryside from the city for a year. During his year-long stay, he becomes involved in investigating mysterious murders with a group of friends while trying to solve the mysterious case of the fog that plagues the town of Inaba, as well as the mysterious Midnight Channel, where people are said to “find their true love”…?

About Persona 5 Royal Remastered

Up until now, the critically acclaimed Persona 5 was only available on PlayStation 4, with many fans wondering if other consoles would ever see it release there, but that changes with Persona 5 Royal Remastered, which is a version of Persona 5 Royal that already includes all of the DLC pre-loaded, and instead of being confined to just PS4, the game will receive a Windows PC release via Steam and XBOX Game Pass, as well as an XBOX and PS5* release.

Persona 5 follows a group of troubled high school students: the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets along the way. These disturbed and troubled teenagers gradually realize that they are living in a toxic and dangerous world resembling a prison full of slavery, oppression, and injustice, ruled by corrupted and twisted adults. The Royal version of the game later adds a third-semester option, which provides a brand-new scenario featuring never-before-seen characters.

*Please note that the game cannot be freely upgraded if you already own the PS4 release. Furthermore, your saved data also can’t carry over.
