Japanese developer SEEC’s mobile suspense visual novel The Prison Boys (監獄少年) has finally finished its English localisation. The game is now available for download.
The Prison Boys is set in the Taisho period of Japan. It follows Tetsu, a new police officer who witnesses an incident at the 12-story Prison. Players have to solve mysteries and collect gears in order to seek the truth and escape from death.
The Japanese version was released in early May this year, and the Chinese version jointly produced by SEEC and QooApp is currently in progress.

It’s not only the 1st chapter you need to repeat, there’s multiple chapters that you must repeat :’)
i forgot how much and what chapters you need to repeat but I slightly remember the conversation and the options you must choose:
– (I think its on ch 1) “the probability is low”.
– (ch 2) “….” Mitsuru found you and Nagi at Naoya’s room. Don’t interfere or deny him, just leave the room
– at library. When Nagi ask who we should to ask, choose Mitsuru Fuwa
– replay the chapter 4, vanished Yamato (2), choose to help Yamato. After that, there’s should be a dialogue between Tetsu and Nagi, if they should leave a message to Mitsuru or not. Choose I agree

Just figured it out,
The main objective is to gain Mitsuru’s trust
To not directly go to Chapter 5, choose “Agree”
For bad end, just choose the other one.
Also to get the bad end besides “Antidote” stage, you just had to chose the wrong chemical
(the correct answer is the chemical with V and H as its first letter)

haha yeah same happened, well i chose not to leave a note in mitsuru’s room,then when the countdown appears on the top of the screen in the cultivation room, you should fail to get out of there and you’ll have your bad ending

It’s for the radio; you have to use the poster with the three circles at the bottom to find how to set the radio and then it will give you the lock code 🙂

Yup. Sorry I forgot to mention it, I thought you’ve already known.. And not all chapters must be completed to unlock the 2nd cards, you just have to reach the true ending (“the prison boys” ending). Good luck! (o^^)o

Yeah I’m stuck here too. I think we’re both at the point where we’ve gotten both of the final bad endings “Nagi” and “TOKKOH”, but can’t find a way to get to the true good end. The hint is the “There should be some hints to create a new path” that adaptativee mentioned.

Okay so i’m stuck in chapter 5 with the last ending left & i have no idea how to get it. It says that “there should be some hints to create a new patch” but even after replaying the whole game i still can’t see them. Can anyone help?
Unfortunately you have to restart from chapter 1 or 2 (I forget which one exactly starts with the trusting Mitsuru options) and then keep playing throughout the rest of the game in order to save your corrections.
Most people try to just go to Chapter Two, fix their mistakes, and then skip back to the end using the scene selection, but that does not save your corrections, and this does not work.
When I did this, I just restarted the whole game from chapter 1 (of course skipping though scenes this time), and finally got to chapter 5 this way.

So, I made it to Chapter 5, but I want to completely ALL of Chapter 4, but I can’t make it past the part where it branches off to Chapter 5. I’ve seen people say they have to trust Mitsuru in Chapter 2 to actually make it to Chapter 5, so do I have to not trust him? I can’t find the specific chapter where I could choose not to trust him without getting a bad ending. Please help me out~ ??
If I’m not mistaken, try to click on Nagi’s bed multiple times until Nagi get annoyed at you in the conversation. And then the card will appear..

Before you try to save Yamato in the 12th basement, you have to find something very important with the gift Naoya gave to you (the stamp) first. The item can be found by combining the stamp with parts of Nagi’s decomposed watch

Okay, something is wromg with my phone because all july concersations are gone.. So again i have to ask, what should i do with the code i nu wo in the cage chapter 5?

So the new code is “to” “ni” and “he”
So you use the iron plate thing to do “I” “Nu” and “Wo” but not at the clip thing. You turn them around to I nu and wo to get your new code (that is in the clip) to put in the iron box. Sorry if my explanation is bad.

The “prisoner” is Yamato! You have to find out the “mistery” around the “gift” before saving him. The “gift” is actually the item Naoya gave you before he died. (You have to use the parts from Naegi’s watch to find the thing you need)

The v + h is to get a potion for hades grass. When you get the clue, go back to the lab, tap on the cupboard whuch one said full of chemicals in english, then choose two that has “v” on the front of it’s name and “h” too for the second chemical…
For opening chapter 5 you will need to gain mitsuru’s trust… Clear him from being the suspect on chapter two
To be exact, click the hint on chapter 5
You have to get a hook from the pink bottle. Take the bottle with a glove near the sink, take the bottle and pour the contain into the sink. You will get the hook and a key
take a paper on general’s desk then see the red word “war”, open the book that has hades grass info in it and see the year when the war began. 512 is for the cabinet in front of right prison.

Go to chapter 2, I think… For more hint click the hint button on chapter 5.. It will tell you exactly which part you have to replay

To use the elevator you should turn on the machine that “looks like a camera” with flashlight batteries (removed with the screwdriver) and obviously with the video cards on

You have to win Mitsuru’s trust to unlock chapter 5! I played since the beggining and said that he had nothing to do with the case and I didn’t blame him about it either.
If you do that you’ll have an option of leave a letter at Mitsuru’s room in chapter 4. ^^

Don’t worry, if it’s the first time you see that safe and code, leave it like that. You can go foward in the story without unlocking that thing (you’ll see that thing again in the future) so you only need to guess the 4 number password in the other room.

I already found out the code of the 16-squared painting in Mr. Ohkawa’s house. But somehow no matter how many times I input the code below the painting, it does not do anything. Am I supposed to wait for something or do I need something in order to unlock something important in the painting? Replies would be appreciated.
Did you find the clue that has the symbols on it? You must use the symbols and notepad code clue together. Then you go to the mirrored image of the painting and you can decipher the code.

I am stuck on opening the safe in the right side of prison. However, to open the safe in prison’s corridor, you have to open the drawer in the right side of prison. Then you will get some chalks. Use chalks on the wall of right side prison. Last, get out of the prison and look through the right side of prison from outside.

Put that piece of paper on the library caution which is on the pillar. That arrow will pointed some hiragana then replace that hiragana with the number behind the arrow’s paper (if you don’t really remember the hiragana’s order, there’s hint on the paper on the floor). That number will be used to unlock a book

Just click on the right edge of the blanket (the bed which is messy) and you’ll find a scissor ,after that click on the other blanket (the clean bed) and click the pillow… you’ll find a match stick…light the match stick and use it on the letter

Not really know how, but tap on the Radio is 6 4 1. After the Frequenz Change and go to 1400/80 –> 1320 for the tresor
You have to look at the magazines cover and the three circles it has. The circles have little dots in them that indicate the positions for the radio’s buttons. After that you have to do a bit of math but that’s easy to figure out 😉
