Developer and publisher IceSitruuna announced that Frontier Hunter: Erza’s Wheel of Fortune 2D action RPG has entered Early Access via Steam on December 15. The game can now be purchased for US$17.99 in its normal version or US$23.91 for a Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game and some DLC packages.

The estimated play time at the start of Early Access is 10-12 hours. This represents about 30% of the total game to be added in the future. Only the main story is fully voiced in Japanese, but the game also supports 11 languages on early access, such as English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and more.

The story takes place two years ago when the protagonist Erza obtained the legendary hunter license and became a rising star in the imperial force. Under the rule of the wise and able emperor, the empire grows steadily. As one of the core forces in the expansion, Erza has won many military exploits.
She will lead an exploration team and start an epic adventure. She will fight unknown monsters and solve mysteries of the world. Why would the fiend become a hair clip? The answer lies in the story…

The in-game world is depicted in beautifully rendered 2.5D graphics. The magnificent world, characters, and ferocious monsters are depicted using toon rendering technology. The same character models are used in cutscenes and play scenes, resulting in a seamless presentation and anime-like dialogue.
The otherworldly stage of the adventure includes forests with sunlight filtering through the trees, floating islands with abundant water, unfathomable caves, and underground cities. More than 60 types of unknown monsters lurk in the field, and when defeated, players obtain items called cores. The game also features a training system that allows players to strengthen their characters by putting these items together like a puzzle.
