The anime adaptation of Kengo Hanazawa’s Under Ninja has revealed a new teaser trailer showcasing cuts from the original work! The anime series is also confirmed to debut in 2023!
Under Ninja is set in a world where ninjas, who are thought to have disappeared after World War II, still exist in secret and are active in the shadows even today. The story is about Kuro Kumogakure, a low-level ninja who has been living his life as a NEET and now goes on a serious ninja mission.
For now, no further information has been released about the adaptation, which plans to be released at some point in 2023, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.

Under Ninja is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kengo Hanazawa, known for his works, I am a Hero and Boys on the Run. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine. Nine volumes have been published to date and the first volume was published on February 6, 2019.
On September 6, 2021, it was announced that the series would receive an anime adaptation which has now been confirmed to premiere in 2023.
The once flourishing Japanese ninja organization was forced to dismantle by GHQ after World War II and disappeared. But in fact, ninjas still exist in secret, and their numbers are said to be as high as 200,000. Some elite ninja were active behind the scenes in nationwide conflicts. On the other hand, ninjas at the end of the line often cannot find work, and one of them, Kuro Kumogakure, lived as if he was a NEET, however, he finally receives a serious ninja assignment, an order from his superiors to infiltrate a high school with the latest equipment.
