A TV anime adaptation of Rokudou no Onna-tachi, the romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Yuji Nakamura, was announced to be broadcast on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi in Japan starting in April 2023. The first key visual, staff, and cast were also revealed alongside the announcement.
Gen Sato will play the role of Tosuke Rokudo, Sumire Uesaka will play the role of Ranna Himawari, Naomi Ozora will play Sayuri Osanada, Yuki Yomichi will play Azami Himeno, Misato Matsuoka will play Tsubaki, Hitomi Sekine will play Mizue Tsuyukusa, and Haruki Ishiya will play Haruya Iinuma.
The anime series will be directed by Keiya Saitou, with series composition by Yuuichirou Momose, character designs by Shinya Segawa, and animation by studio Satelight.
Rokudou no Onna-tachi follows Tosuke Rokudo, a timid high school student who, by chance, gains the mysterious power “to make the bad girls fall in love with him”, and the unique bad-girls heroines, who are strong characters such as yakuza members, gyarus and gang leaders, and somehow become meek and mild-mannered maidens in front of Tosuke.

■ Tosuke Rokudo – CV: Gen Sato
A timid high-school boy. He is given a special power that causes any bad girl to instantly fall in love with him once he makes eye contact with them. He is a pacifist but has the courage to stand up to difficulties for the sake of his friends. He has a straight heart and does not misuse his abilities.
■ Ranna Himawari – CV: Sumire Uesaka
The most powerful and deadliest delinquent girl in history. Rumors abound that she single-handedly “crushed a motorcycle gang” or “crushed a Yakuza gang”. She falls in love with Tosuke because of his power.
■ Sayuri Osanada – CV: Naomi Ozora
She looks like a child, but actually, she is a mighty girl that is strong as a gorilla and terribly tough. On the other hand, she has an immature, pure and innocent side, having never experienced her first love.
■ Azami Himeno – CV: Yuki Yomichi
A young lady who loves motorcycles and police work. She hates motorcycle gangs and dresses up as a motorcycle cop to rid them of violence. She is cheerful, kind and has a headstrong personality.
■ Tsubaki – CV: Misato Matsuoka
A gyaru, Tosuke’s classmate and Iinuma’s girlfriend. Despite her cute appearance, she has a bad mouth.
■ Mizue Tsuyukusa – CV: Hitomi Sekine
A serious and kind class president. She mistakenly believes that Tosuke has turned into a delinquent and is worried about him.
■ Haruya Iinuma – CV: Haruki Ishiya
One of the biggest delinquents at Tosuke’s High School. He is a loner, a strong fighter, and a friendly person. In the past, he was a weak person.
▍About Rokudou no Onna-tachi
Rokudou no Onna-tachi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Nakamura, serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion from June 2016 to April 2021, with its chapters collected into twenty-six tankōbon volumes.
Tosuke Rokudo, a timid first-year student at Amori High School, a school attended mainly by delinquents, just wants to live a peaceful life with his friends. But because his delinquent classmates constantly bully him, this seems impossible. One day, Tosuke receives a mysterious package from his long-deceased grandfather, inside he finds, a mysterious scroll passed down within his family since the Japanese Heian period, which is said to be able to exorcise demons.
With hopes of changing his current situation, he activates the scroll, initially thinking it seems of no use with the delinquents at his school, this changes when a delinquent girl rescues him from a bully who was tormenting him. After realizing the potential of his new ability, Rokudou vows to become stronger and use his power to achieve his dream of having a peaceful school life.
