The television anime adaptation of Oshi no Ko manga by Aka Akasaka, author of the manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War released a new 1-minute extended trailer previewing the show’s main characters from Hoshino Ai, to Gorou Amemiya and Ai’s children!
The trailer also previewed the show’s opening theme song, “Idol” by none other than Yoasobi who also recently did the opening for the Gundam: The Witch From Mercury anime series! The trailer also revealed Kana Arima’s voice actor to be Megumi Han. The trailer was revealed at a special live stream releasing more information about the anime, which you can check out here.
The Oshi No Ko anime will be debuting its first episode as a 90-minute anime film and can be seen in advance at screenings in Japan starting on March 17. The actual anime will begin airing on Japanese television in April.

▍Oshi no Ko Story
The story follows Goro, a young doctor who is a huge fan of his favorite idol Ai Hoshino. After suddenly being told to handle the birth of his favorite idol’s children, he is murdered by a crazed fan and then finds himself, and a patient of his reborn as Ai’s children. The story follows them as they learn the truth about their birth, and follow in the footsteps of their beloved mother, and Oshi (Favorite Girl).
Oshi No Ko is a manga written by Aka Akasaka, known also for being the author and artist of Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, the manga is illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, and the series has been in publication since 2020 and was recently made available on Jump +! Volume 8 of the manga was released on June 17, 2022, in Japan, and the manga has sold over 3 million copies! Oshi No Ko also won first place at the Next Manga Awards in the print category in 2021.
