Anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica’s mobile spin-off Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story [Magia Record] (マギアレコード 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ外伝) was first set for Spring release but then postponed to mid July. Unfortunately, the game is delayed again. The latest release date is 22nd August.

Produced by Aniplex and f4samurai, Magia Record is made up of three stories. The main story revolves around the protagonist’s (players’ character) adventure while the spin-off story and the magic girls story focus on characters from the original anime.
In the main story, magic girls are lead to Kamihama Shi (神浜市) due to its strange power Doppel. Tamaki Iroha happens to be there to search for her sister. She and the other magic girls are then determined to find out the truth about this mysterious city.
The gameplay has been revealed in the recently released preview videos.
