The trailer highlights the series protagonist duo Maru and Kiruko on their journey to find “Heaven”, as well as key characters Tokio and the others living in the beautiful world inside the walls wondering “what’s out there?”.
It also gives a preview of the anime’s opening song “innocent arrogance” by punk band BiSH and the ending song “No one knows him or anywhere” (誰も彼も何処も何も知らない)” by ASOBI Doumei.

Heavenly Delusion is about a group of children isolated from the world in a research facility. What they don’t know is that the outside world had long been destroyed due to an unprecedented disaster that claimed the lives of most of civilization, and utterly destroyed the world’s infrastructure.
Tokio, a young girl living in the facility one day receives a message asking if she wants to go outside, her friend Mimihime is able to tell fortunes and tells her that one day two people from the outside world will save her. The person in question is Maru, a boy who looks just like Tokio traveling through the ruins of the world with a girl named Kirko, looking for Heaven.
