The new anime will revolve around Senkai Taisen as well as the rivalry between Taikobo and Bunchuu. The original manga on Weekly Shonen Jump is inspired by Chinese literature Fengshen Yanyi.  The plot mainly follows Taikobo and his task to restore peace in the late In Dynasty of China.
