While no release date was announced, the game does now have a Twitter account you can follow. While you may have seen the post being released on April 1 in some regions, the post was released on April 2, 00:00 in Japan, and with the credits including Kadokawa and NextNinja, it’s likely not an April Fool’s joke.

About Bungo Stray Dogs

Bungo Stray Dogs is a Japanese manga series written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. The series was first published in the magazine Young Ace in 2012 and has been ongoing ever since. The manga has been adapted into multiple anime seasons and movies, as well as several light novels and games. It has been published in English by Yen Press since December 20, 2016.

The series follows the Armed Detective Agency, a group of detectives all bearing some form of supernatural power or curse while tackling cases in Yokohama. The group’s latest addition is Atsushi Nakajima, a young orphan who saves a detective named Osamu Dazai from his regular suicide attempts. After the encounter, Osamu discerns that Nakajima was kicked out of his orphanage because he transforms into a white tiger under the moonlight, forcing the orphanage to kick him out for the safety of its children. With nowhere left to go, Osamu takes him into the Armed Detective Agency, where they solve cases together and meet other wacky individuals.

The series is known for its supernatural action mystery, while also featuring many characters sharing names with real-world figures, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Osamu Dazai, and many more.
