TV anime Toji no Miko announces mobile game and cast in new PV

Upcoming original TV anime Toji no Miko (刀使ノ巫女) made several major updates today (11th August). One of the updates is the announcement of a mobile game made by Square Enix.

Not much has been revealed on the game’s teaser site, but it has been confirmed that the original cast members will be reprising their roles for it. It is estimated to be out next year.

The cast is also revealed in the first trailer released today.

The anime directed by Kodai Kakimoto (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) at Studio Gokumi is written by Tatsuya Takahashi, who is famous for working on numerous adult visual novels developed by Leaf. The plot is yet to be revealed, but it has been revealed the girls’ weapons are famous Katana that exist in real life and the girls are high school students who also work as shire maidens to kill spirits.

Toji no Miko will air in January 2018.
