Bandai Namco Filmworks started streaming the second trailer of World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium, digging into the mobile rhythm game based on the multimedia project World Dai Star. A new key visual and the music video for the franchise’s unit Gingaza was also revealed featuring the original song “Planetarium Review” (プラネタリウム・レヴュー).
The game has also opened for pre-orders on App Store and Google Play, following its previous pre-registration campaign on Twitter, Youtube, and the official Site. Players will receive 3,000 Jewels and 10 Actress Gacha Tickets when the pre-registrations reach 500,000.
Set in the 20th century, World Dai Star is about the advent of the “dancer,” a term given to a brilliant performer, who brought about a worldwide boom in the theater. The mobile game will follow the story of the anime adaptation as the four units Sirius, Gingaza, Gekidan Denki, and Eden strives to crown the title of the “World Dancers”.
World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium is slated to release for iOS and Android devices in Summer 2023 in Japan.
▍World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium Gameplay
The second trailer provides a bit of a gameplay preview of World Dai Star: Yume no Stellarium, which intends to expand the world of World Dai Star on mobile platforms. The rhythm game features two primary modes; performance and story mode. The performance mode allows you to play a wide list of the franchise’s original songs and cover songs with four difficulties; Normal, Hard, Extra, and Stella. You can also enjoy the characters’ 3D stage play performance while tapping to the beat.
Training the actresses is also a key gameplay feature as you build your dream units and unlock their full performing potential. Just like other games in its genre, awakening the characters will give it a new visual and unlock their original episodes, which could only be found in the mobile game.
The game also has a Shooting and Viewing mode, where you could take photos of the girls in their everyday life, and during their on-stage performances without the stress of losing!
