Upcoming anime movie Mazinger Z (劇場版マジンガーZ) will be released on 13rd January next year in Japan. In the latest character introduction video, more cast members such as Natsuki Hanae and Sumeire Uesaka are announced.

Adapted from Go Nagai’s (永井豪) classic robot manga of the same title, the movies is set during the time when peace has been restored, which is approximately 10 years after the end of the anime timeline. Protagonist Koji Kabuto becomes a scientist like his grandfather and father. After detecting mysterious life forms deep down in Mount Fuji, it is time for Mazinger Z to fight for humanity again.
