F4samurai has begun the pre-registration for the upcoming romantic adventure RPG Ange Relink for Android and iOS devices. As the successor of Ange Vierge, a mobile TCG that ended service on December 20, 2021, the game tells the story of the “Progress”, young girls with special abilities.
The title integrates romance ADV elements into its unique real-time card-based mechanics. There’s also an online battle mode for you to battle against other players. Ange Relink will be released in Japan but the schedule is yet to be revealed.
Pre-registration can be done by following the official Twitter, LINE, Youtube, or via App Store, and Google Play. And if the number of pre-registrants exceeds 100,000, Sophina, the witch of the black world, featured in the key visual of the announcement, will be presented to players who complete the tutorial after the game release.
▍Ange Relink Worldview & Story
Set in a future one year from now, the world has met its end. A young girl named Euphilia, possessing a unique ability known as Exceed that allows her to traverse time, escapes from this apocalyptic world. To avoid this catastrophic end, she appears before you and makes a plea: “I want you to retrieve the future of this world with me.”
The time to choose is now. Your “choices” will reshape the world and its future, rewriting the ending where the world comes to an end.
One day, the world becomes interconnected. Suddenly, the gate high-low opens, linking five different worlds. Beings from fairy tales like angels, demons, fairies, witches, androids, and beastmen appear in reality.
Simultaneously, young girls awakening to the Exceed abilities start to appear in these different worlds. These girls, known as Progress, are gathered in a school city called Seiran Academy, dedicated to their protection and training.
In this academy, they encounter you, an entity that is known as the Alpha Driver. Together, you must navigate the Progress through these interconnected worlds, form bonds, unlock their potential, and ultimately, avert the catastrophic end of the world.
▍About Ange Relink
Co-developed by f4samurai and Kadokawa, Ange Relink is a spiritual successor to the previously-released Ange Vierge. The game is set in the academy city of Seiran Island, where heroines with various skills, called Progress, gather and form bonds.
The game cleverly incorporates elements of romance adventure and card gaming unique to the Ange series. However, unlike traditional card battles that operate on turn-based mechanics, the card battles in Ange Relink progress in real time. The developers have also announced plans to implement an online battle mode.
