Lies of P, the Soulslike action RPG inspired by the story of Pinnochio, has unveiled a new trailer at Summer Game Fes showcasing some of its new gameplay footage. Previously set to launch in August, the game has been delayed and is now set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19. A free demo of the game is also available on all platforms.
As showcased in the trailer, Players take the role of a mechanical version of Pinocchio, who is on the hunt for Gepetto and in pursuit of gaining his own humanity. Set in the city of Krat, a Bloodborne-esque gothic city, Pinocchio will fight through a “once-beautiful city that has now become a living hell filled with unspeakable horrors.” Players can also change parts of Pinocchio’s body to access new skills and battle abilities.

A demo of Lies of P is now available on consoles and PC. This gives players early access to the first two chapters of Lies of P, including challenging boss encounters, introductions to key characters, and more as players can freely explore the game’s primary hub area: Hotel Krat.

Pre-orders of the Digital and Digital Deluxe edition have now started! All pre-orders will include the Mischievous Puppet’s Set outfit. In addition, a Deluxe Edition will also be available, including the Great Venigni’s Set outfit, a unique mask, and a 72-hour early access pass to the game before the September 19, 2023 release!
