Classic online MMORPG Iris Online will go mobile under a new title, Iris Origin (アイリス・オリジン). The game is now ready for pre-registration.
Despite being a trending online MMO, Iris Online was terminated a few years ago. In Iris Origin, players will be able to experience Iris Online all over again with as many as 150 people. Whether it’s cooperative mode, guild battles, sieges, bosses, dungeons or the Challenger Tower, it will be resurrected in the new game with no difference.
Iris Origin is currently produced by Japanese studio D-Creative and set for release in late September.
Iris Online is developed by Korean company EYA Interactive and was first released in 2010. Players were able to choose their job from human, beast and elf. Its transform system, in which players could to transform into the monsters they defeated, and high level of “customizability” had helped it gain commercial success.
