Arknights is bringing the heat when it launches the What the Firelights Casts event on July 13, bringing another limited story event, new operators, stages, event shop, outfits, and more to the game.
As part of the update, players can receive the non-limited alternative version of Reed, Reed the Flame Shadow from her new rate-up headhunting, along with another new operator Harmonie. Another new vanguard will also be joining the game in the form of Puzzle, a character you can pick up from playing the event and using Manuscripts of Ballads to redeem for the character.
A new set of winter-themed outfits will also be available, as well as the return of the Cambrian series, new furniture sets, and a limited-time login bonus granting you a free outfit for Pudding.

Three new operators are joining the game! These are the “healer” Reed the Flame Shadow, the vanguard puzzle, and caster Harmonie.
Both Reed and Haarmonie can be picked up in the new “To Bloom From a Dim Flame” headhunting. Since Reed the Flame Shadow is an alternative version of the 5-star operator Reed, the bond points between both of these versions of the character are shared.

Puzzle won’t be available in the new headhunting as he is an event bonus operator you can pick up from collecting Manuscripts of Ballads. Once you have collected enough you can redeem them for a free copy of the puzzle as well as the rest of his Potential items.

▍Arknights New Outfits
The new Icefield Messenger outfit series is also being added to the game! These outfits for Erato, Greyy the Lightning Bearer, and Goldenglow will be available after the maintenance and can be purchased using Originium Primes from the in-game shop.

As with every new event there’s a new set of furniture coming into the game for your dorms, and you can pick up the Detective’s study as lucky drops from most operations, and the new Reed’s Cabin series that can be picked up from the furniture store and redeemed during the event.
