The Arknights Perish in Frost anime released a 2nd teaser trailer, featuring additional characters and cast members.
The trailer explores more of the conflict between Rhodes Island and Reunion, this time with the faction being led by FrostNova, with a rendition of the in-game track “Lullabye” being played.
The additional cast members revealed this time around include Yoko Hikasa as Kal’tsit, Ai Kakuma as Frostleaf, Ryo Hirohashi as Jessica, Risa Taneda as Meteorite, Sora Tokui as Swire, and Kiyono Yasuno as Hoshiguma.
The Perish in Frost anime currently has no release date.
▍About Arknights
Originally a tactical tower-defense mobile game set in a ruined world populated by species of humanoids carrying animal traits. Upon the discovery of a mysterious mineral known as “Originium”, mankind made giant leaps in technologies, but it also brought a deadly virus. People infected by Source are known as the “infected”, these victims will slowly petrify from within their bodies. With no cure, the only thing those that are not infected can do is quarantine the infected.
The quarantine policy led the infected unifying to rebel against the government, destroying cities and putting them on an irreversible path. Under the disguise of offering Infected medical care, a company known as Rhodes Islands has been secretly researching and experimenting on Originium to create new weapons for the war, while the Doctor also tries to look for a way to ease the infected’s suffering.
