The television anime adaptation of Nami Sano’s Migi to Dali suspense manga has revealed the main trailer that confirms its debut in October 2023. The video also revealed more details about the staff and the opening theme song, “Yūmagadoki” (ユウマガドキ) is performed by singer-songwriter Soraru and singer Rib.
The single collecting the opening song will be released on October 25 in a regular version and the first limited edition. Each features a different cover art which can be viewed below;
Created by Nami Sano, the same mangaka who brought you the comedy Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto, Migi to Dali was a suspense manga first serialized in Enterbrain’s Seinen manga magazine Harta from July 2017 to November 2021. It was collected in seven tankōbon volumes.
The story centers on the twin boys, Migi and Dali, who search for the truth about their mother’s death by pretending to be the most perfect son, Hitori, to an old couple. As previously announced, Mankyū is directing the anime at Geek Toys, and is also in charge of the series scripts, as well as serving as sound director. Ayumi Nishibata is designing the characters and is also serving as chief animation director. Hiroko Sebu is composing the music.
Joining the staff are assistant director Mamoru Enomoto; Emi Honda, Takayo Mitsuwaka, and Nozomi Fujii taking charge of clothing design. Color & Smile is handling prop design, and the food design is credited to Recommendation.
Additional announced staff include Kiya Hirayoshi for the art setting, Risa Wakabayashi as the art director, Haruko Nobori as color setting supervisor, Kōhei Ogawa as the 3D director, Mika Watanabe as director of photography, and Masahiro Goto for editing. Music production is being handled by Flying Dog, with Naoto Yamatani for sound effects, and Bit Groove Promotion in charge of sound production.
