Sega’s mobile RPG Chain Chronicle has launched a collaboration event with the television anime Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout on August 8. This special collab fest allows players to team up with characters from the anime, including Ryza, Klaudia, Lent, and Lila!
Along with the main event, players can participate in quests that showcase an original storyline and gather materials for alchemy crafting collab weapons. A highlight of the event includes the Demon Subjugation, where players have a chance to earn the collab character Midsummer Alchemist Ryza.

During the collaboration period, you have a chance to get the SSR character Midsummer Alchemist Ryza voiced by Yuri Noguchi as an event reward.
Once averse to water due to a certain incident, Ryza has now overcome her fears and can comfortably dive in. Her swimsuit, a key feature of this version, was provided by Klaudia and has become one of her favorites.

▍Chain Chronicle x Atelier Ryza 1st Collab Gacha Festival
The first collab festival featuring characters Ryza and Klaudia is now underway. Scheduled from August 8 until August 22, this gacha introduces the SSR characters Adventurous Alchemist Ryza and Merchant’s Daughter Klaudia.
In addition to dealing significant damage in the demon invasion event Midsummer Alchemist Ryza Invasion?, both SSR characters come equipped with initial weapons that not only enhance their damage but also increase the number of demon coins earned when defeating Ryza. Players are guaranteed to receive Merchant’s Daughter Klaudia on the 30th, 65th, and 100th gacha pulls, and Adventurous Alchemist Ryza on the 50th, 80th, and 120th pulls.
■ Adventurous Alchemist Ryza – CV: Yuri Noguchi
Ryza is a farmer’s daughter from Kurken Island. She feels constricted by her village’s adherence to traditions and customs and longs for a change from her ordinary life. Upon meeting Empel, she discovers the potential of alchemy and becomes deeply engrossed in it. Although she occasionally skips out on the farming chores assigned by her mother and can be a bit irresponsible, she is passionate and dedicated when she believes in something.
■ Merchant’s Daughter Klaudia – CV: Hitomi Ōwada
Traveling the world with her father’s merchant caravan, she visited Razenboden village due to business affairs. Since childhood, she has taken up the flute as a hobby, a skill taught by her mother. However, her shy and introverted nature prevents her from playing in public. She’s also kept her flute-playing a secret from her father, often sneaking away from the caravan for practice sessions.

From August 10 until August 22, the second gacha event will feature collab characters SSR Wandering Female Warrior Lila and SSR Tower-Seeking Warrior Lent.

Lent is one of Ryza’s childhood friends. Typically cheerful and in high spirits, he is also the voice of reason and often tries to put a halt to Ryza’s impulsive actions. His father, a former mercenary and known troublemaker in the village, often frustrates Lent. Determined not to be defined by his background, Lent trains daily and practices his swordsmanship. His goal is to conquer a distant tower to the north of the village.
■ Wandering Female Warrior Lila – CV: Haruka Terui
Lila is a traveling warrior with a unique and exotic appearance. She possesses almost superhuman physical abilities and is known for her strength. Currently, she travels the world as a bodyguard for Empel and encountered Ryza and her friends while en route to Kurken Island. From then on, she taught them practical combat techniques. Always cool and composed, Lila’s straightforward nature means she often speaks her mind without reservation.

Demon Invasion Event
The Demon Invasion event Summer Alchemist Ryza Invasion? is now underway. Players will challenge the controlled Ryza, aiming to rescue her. By successfully finding and defeating Ryza during this event, players can earn various rewards, including Premium Tickets and Spirit Stones.
The second ability of Summer Alchemist Ryza, Water’s Mastery, awakens by clearing the character quest available at level 70. To reach this level, one needs to break through the limit at least twice. This ability provides benefits such as strengthening allies even when Ryza is in a sub-party.
Collab Story
Ryza, an emerging alchemist, resides in the small village of Razenboden on Kurken Island, alongside her comrades Lent, Klaudia, and Lila. Due to an anomaly in the alchemical cauldron one day, the four of them are transported across dimensions to the Atelier of the Alchemist Guild leader Nanai in a different city. To complicate things further, not only have they been transported, but the creatures called Puni from Kurken Island have massively multiplied in this new world. The real question is, can Ryza and her team cooperate with the Volunteer Army to round up all the Puni and find their way back home?
Collect Materials and Forge Collaboration Weapons
Exclusive weapon alchemy materials have been introduced. During the collaboration event period, players can obtain these materials and collaboration weapons through quests and event explorations.
Additionally, an event-exclusive area will be available in the Exploration section. In this area, players can discover materials and weapons for the collab weapon alchemy similar to the regular quests. Once you’ve accumulated enough materials, forge weapons through alchemy that comes with abilities.
