The Japanese doujinshi circle PANDRI-DON announced that their kemonomimi girl-training adventure game Animaloid Girl will release for PC via Steam in the fourth quarter of 2024. The Steam page of the game also opens today in coincidence with the announcement.
Under the theme of “Kemonomimi x Hong Kong x Cyberpunk,” the multi-ending adventure game focuses on the coming-of-age story of a girl who gradually turns from a human to a kemono (beast). Set in a near future city where the phenomenon of “Animalization” turns young boys and girls into beasts after puberty, Animaloid Girl starts when the player adopted a kemonomimi girl and has to take care of her daily life.
The animality progresses over a period of about one year, and the form with animal ears and a tail is called “Half-Anima”, while the form with the whole body covered with fur and the face completely transformed into an animal is called “Anima”.
The gameplay of the game is yet to be revealed, but it was said that the player is free to choose to further Animatization the girl through drug administration, to halt its progression, or even to surgically rewind it. You will also have to manage her status in five categories including Strength, Speed, Beauty, Wild, and Independence.
Moreover, Anima is still a minority in this world, you will have to deal with the prejudice of society, as well as the troubles that come from discrimination and bullying. Your choice of nurturing the girl will decide her fate and position in society.
Animaloid Girl is set to release in Japanese first with multilingual support, including English, available sequentially.
