At today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, Cygames’ 3D action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink has revealed a new trailer confirming its worldwide release date on February 1, 2024, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam! Pre-orders of the game also start today.
Granblue Fantasy Relink is a high-octane action RPG featuring a dynamic battle system. Players will engage in real-time combat with a party of four, and teamwork will be the key to gaining victory as you make use of the game’s Link Attack and Chain Bursts system. The game’s latest trailer has also revealed a new character, but details are yet to be revealed.
In Relink, every enemy and party formation has its strengths and weaknesses—the key to victory lies in working out how these pieces fit together. It also features there are over 100 side quests and a customization system where you could customize characters through a variety of skills, weapons, and more.
The story takes place in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. The protagonist, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria, sails for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies. Along the way, they meet a colorful cast of characters, adding kings and misfits alike to their ragtag crew.

The game’s standard digital and physical edition is priced at US$59.99. There is also a physical Deluxe edition, priced at US$99.99, that includes a special outer box, artbook, soundtrack CD, postcard set, and in-game items (Starter Item Pack, Color Packs 1–3, and Weapon: False Sword of the Apocalypse).
The game also has a Collector’s Edition which includes everything in the Deluxe edition as well as a Proto Bahamut Figure, and Sword of Eos Metal Charm.
Pre-ordering the game in PlayStation Store will grant you early access to the game, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., January 28, 2024 [PT], together with in-game items Stamina III and Enmity III Sigils. The Playstation-only Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at US$99.99, including a digital artbook & soundtrack, in-game items (Starter Item Pack, Color Packs 1–3 and Weapon: False Sword of the Apocalypse), and Granblue Special Item Set: Relink Pack.
