As previously announced, RPG franchise God Eater (ゴッドイーター) was going to reveal a new console title after the God Eater Orchestra Live yesterday (7th October). Surprisingly, besides the expected God Eater 3, there was also surprisingly a mobile title that is different from any of the previous God Eater games.
▍God Eater Resonant Ops
God Eater Resonant Ops is the second God Eater mobile game after the release of God Eater Online. Unlike any of the games from the franchise, which are mostly online action RPG, this one is a turn-based RPG.
Resonant Ops is set after the end of the story in God Eater 2 Rage Burst (PSV/PS4/PC). The protagonist here is a newbie in the Fenrir headquarter. A team consists of at most three members, including the protagonist and two more existing characters. Battles can be run on auto mode.
The characters are voiced by a grand cast of actors. Like before, players will be able to choose between being a girl or a guy. Members from the games before as well as new God Eaters will be introduced in this brand new RPG.

▍God Eater 3
God Eater 3 is the console title that has been hinted earlier. According to the trailer, the new protagonist is finally able to use double swords. The aragamis shown here are also different from those in the previous games. Not much detail other than the above was revealed.
