Adapted from Hajime Isayama’s (諫山 創) worldwide trending manga series of the same title, TV anime Attack on Titan Season 3 (進撃の巨人 Season3) is coming July next year. Before that, an compilation film of season 2 will arrive January 2018. The news was announced at Attack on Titan Reading＆Live Event Orchestra yesterday.

▍Attack on Titan Season 3
The story is a continuation of season 2. According the visual, it covers The Uprising arc in which Eren is kidnapped and Historia’s family story is revealed. Like before, the anime is directed by Tetsuro Araki, written by Yasuko Kobayashi, and produced by Wit Studio. The release schedule is July 2018.
▍Attack on Titan Season 2: Kakusei no Houkou
Attack on Titan Season 2: Kakusei no Houkou (劇場版「進撃の巨人」Season2～覚醒の咆哮～) is a compilation movie of the entire season 2. It will open on 13th January 2018. A movie trailer is now available.

▍Attack on Titan
Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan, also called Shingeki no Kyojin, has been has been serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2009. The story is set in a world where titans exist and threaten humans even after the latter have isolated themselves behind three gigantic walls. Eren, the protagonist, and his friends therefore seek revenge and decide to undercover the truth behind the titans.
