Adapted from Kozue Amano’s (天野 こずえ) manga of the same title, TV anime Amanchu! (あまんちゅ！) is making a second season set for release in April 2018. The news was announced in the Amanchu! livestream yesterday, which featured the original cast as well as new cast members.

The new season is called Amanchu!: Advance (あまんちゅ！～あどばんす～). It will still be produced by J.C.Staff and the previous staff members. A new visual is now available.
▍Story
Futaba Ooki is a shy girl who just moved to a small town in Izu Peninsula. Her plan to lead a plain school life is ruined when her classmate Hikari Kohinata, a girl who loves scuba diving, invites her to join the school’s diving club together.
The tale of Hikari Kohinata and Futaba Ooki continues as the season changes. Joined by new acquaintances Kokoro Misaki, Kotori Misaki, and Hikari’s little sister Kodama Kohinata, the high schoolers are still indulged in scuba diving as ever.
