Yesterday, Aniplex announced an anime movie for its TV anime series, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend (冴えない彼女の育てかた), in an offline event called Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend FES♭～glistening moment～. An announcement poster drawn by Kurehito Misaki was also published online.
Not much about the movie has been revealed. More info is coming on the new teaser site.
▍Background

Saekano is originally a light novel series written by Fumiaki Maruto (丸戸 史明) and illustrated by Misaki. The novel has already finished after a four-year serialisation started in 2013. The TV anime adaption consists of 25 episodes.
Tomoya Aki is a high school otaku who takes part-time jobs to earn money for anime Blu-ray discs. On a pavement covered in sakura, he meets Megumi Kato, whom inspires him to make a doujin game with a heroine that looks like her. A week later, he finds out she is in fact her classmate.
To turn his game-making passion into realisation, Tomoya tries hard to convince his illustrator schoolmate Eriri Spencer Sawamura, elite senpai Utaha Kasumigaoka, and of course Megumi to make the plan possible. Later on, his musician cousin Michiru Hyodo and junior schoolmate Izumi Hashima join the party.
