Light novel Boogiepop and Others (ブギーポップは笑わない) finally got a TV anime 20 years after it was published. Unlike the previous Boogiepop Phantom anime which contains original stories based on the Boogiepop universe, this show is going to be a faithful adaption.
Aoi Yuki has been cast as Touka Miyashita/Boogiepop while Saori Onishi has been cast as Nagi Kirima. Shingo Natsume is directing the anime at Madhouse.

The Boogiepop novel series is written by Kouhei Kadono (上遠野 浩平). Boogiepop and Others being the first entry was released in 1998. The introduction on Google books reads…
