[Qoo Guide] Getting Started on Jump's Jumputi Heroes

Jump’s 50th Anniversary mobile game Jumputi Heroes is a mobile puzzle battle game where players can collect iconic characters from all the hit serializations throughout the history of the publication.

▍Story

The Jump heroes live peacefully on Jumputi Island, but the demon king that wakes up every 50 years is threatening their lives! As a result, they begin an adventure in search of the king and eliminate him!

Getting Started

Picking your First Character

Right after the initial tutorial stages, you will be given an option to choose between one of 29 main protagonists from some of Jump’s iconic series. Whilst it is completely fine to choose your favorite character, there are also some characters that will help make your early game easier. Of course, asides from the 29 5-star characters, there are also other 5-star characters in the game, but the initial 29 are literally given to you so its best to start from there. Below is a handful of recommended characters to start off with.

▍Monkey D. Luffy – Attack Type

Luffy has high stats overall, which makes him quite strong even at lv.1 in comparison to most characters. His special deals 280% damage to a single target. A great character to start off simply because of his overall stats.

▍Son Goku – Attack Type

Goku is also a great character to start with for the same reasons as Luffy. His special is also the same as Luffy, but his attack stat is just slightly lower.

▍Seiya – Balance

Single target special with a two-turn buff that reduces incoming damage by 200. As a support Seiya can also reduce incoming damage by 600 as well as give a team 20% attack buff.

▍Cobra – Balance Type

Cobra’s special ignore’s enemy damage reduction, so even with a lower attack percentage, his special will still do quite some damage to a single target. This effect will also be useful mid and late game which is what makes Cobra a recommended hero.

▍Kankichi Ryotsu – Special Type

Not the best looking of characters, but his special can add a 3% attack buff to your team. Sure, using a support character with an attack buff will give a significantly better buff, with Kankichi Ryotsu you won’t have to miss a turn using a support character to gain a buff. His passive also gives him an additional 10% attack buff when over 90% HP which helps balance out his average Attack stat.

▍Taikobo – Balance Type

He is the only character in the initial 29 5-stars to have an AoE special. Although the attack percentage is only at 190%, having an AoE early game means you can easily wipe the initial stages with just one special, leaving your other specials for boss waves. From what we know of Jumputi Heroes right now, AoE specials are quite rare within the game.
