The long awaited Comico manga adaption of Vital Gear (ヴァイタルギア) has made its way to mobile devices! With over 100+ bishojo characters to collect and master along with a plentiful cast of voice actors, Vital Gear offers hours of war fun madness. Whether you’re looking to collecting the most powerful Vital Gear characters or want a powerful head start, this guide will teach you how to re-roll and backup your almighty account!
▍How to Re-Roll
Re-rolling in Vital Gear is much more simpler and takes less than two minutes. That’s quicker than most mobile games out there! As tedious as the process may be, you don’t have to worry about creating a username or having to skip over a mandatory tutorial before accessing the gacha. The gacha is accessible once all game data has been downloaded beforehand and watching an optional cutscene.
This method works on all devices, regardless of root.
1. Access your Settings.
2. Head over to your Application List and search for “ヴァイタルギア (Vital Gear)”.
3. Once you’re in the app page, click on Storage.
4. You will find two options, CLEAR DATA and CLEAR CACHE. Proceed to click on CLEAR DATA. This will wipe all data that has been downloaded by the application. Now open the application and wait for any data to download (it’s recommended to download data over wi-fi to speed things up!). Proceed to skip both the cinematic cutscene and gacha cutscene.
Repeat this process for a chance of obtaining more than one rainbow capsule which contain 5★ characters! Gold capsules only contain 4★ characters and blue capsules only contain 1-3★ characters.
▍How to Backup Game Data
To backup game data, there won’t be a need to create an account for a third-party service or manually create a unique password/username.
1. Access the title screen of Vital Gear, which can be accessed by restarting the application.
2. Before tapping anywhere on the screen, you will have two options at the bottom of “Touch to Start”. Click on the button with the text “データ連携” on the bottom left to access the data link page.
3. To back up your account, you must obtain a unique ID and password. There are two white boxes with the left one being automatically check marked. Click on the right box containing the text “ログインパスワード発行” on the right side.
4. On this screen, your unique ID and password will be visible. Clicking on the button with the text “データコピー” will allow you to copy both the ID and password on to your clipboard for easier access.
If you would like a new password, click on the second to last button at the bottom with the following text “再発行”. This will re-issue a new password that you and it will invalidate all old passwords. So, make sure to keep track of your new password and ID!!
▍How to Transfer Game Data
To transfer game data, you’ll be accessing the same backup game data screen as before but will be placed on the first check marked page at the top left side.
1. You will have access to two different text boxes. The first one will be for your unique ID and the second one will be your unique password.
2. Insert the copied ID and Password from the backup game data page and click on “確定” located under your unique ID insert box to confirm.
3. The screen on top should pop-up confirming that you have successfully input and transferred your account data. Enjoy and play on!
