It has been a while since Otomate released its last mobile project. Yesterday, a joint project with Taito was revealed, and it is a dark fantasy title called Crimson Clan (クリムゾン クラン).
The game has Storm Lover illustrator Kawahito Yasutake, Beast and Princess illustrator Aya Murasaki, Glass Heart Princess illustrator Yuki Kinami, and Sephirot -Toki no Sekaiju- illustrator Yui Minakoshi on board for the art. Yuki Kaji, whose voice is no stranger to anime fans, is cast as protagonist Ryo Arisato, an archaeology student from an eminent family.
The story is set against a backdrop of modern dark fantasy. In order to survive, players’ character must work with the guys in “Clan”, with the risk that they would turn their back on her at anytime.
Crimson Clan will come out in 2018 in Japan.
