[Qoo Guide] Epic Seven Re-Roll Marathon Rundown

0

Epic Seven huh? Seems to be getting a lot of attention lately, especially with the global version being just released. Just like many mobile games, you’re probably gunning for the best starting characters to start off your new journey, so here are a few tips for you to get on track for the game.

Things to Know Before You Start

Before you start, make sure you don’t log in to any account for the game. This seems like common sense, but it’s easy to make a stupid mistake like logging in with your Google account at initial launch.

The game doesn’t give you a lot of gems to start summoning like a boss, but it does have an in-built re-roll system that gives you 30 10x summons once you get past 1-10 in the main story. So, if you’re desperate to start with a good team you might want to put down whatever else you have going on, that is, unless you have some crazy luck.

During the initial tutorial, you’ll get one free summon. This summon is can give you characters from 3* to 5* but this isn’t really the point where you consider re-rolling, be patient and play the game until you hit 1-10. If you’re doing this off-hand, then just rush your way to 1-05. After finishing 1-05, you’ll unlock the auto-combat feature of the game, making the last 5 stages a breeze.

After reaching 1-10, you’ll unlock the Selective Summon. This is the important part. The Selective Summon is the summon that allows you to do 30 10x summons. If you don’t get the hero you want in the 30 tries the game provides, then don’t worry, restarting is made insanely easy for you, simple go to the Settings page and then under account Settings hit the reset button. If you haven’t logged in to your Google account beforehand then your current data will be wiped and you’ll start all over again, saving you the time to delete files from your phone, or worst, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.

Recommended Characters.

As always there are certain characters that will be great for you early on. below is a list of characters that you would want to aim for if you want an easy start to the game. When you’re re-rolling remember this, The first free summon the game gives you during the tutorial, it is possible to get a 5* character, it’s rare, but not impossible. The Selective Summon only gives you one 5* character or XX card. you’ll want to focus more on character first, rather than xx card because characters have a more significant effect on your initial gameplay.

Sez

Sez is a beast in dealing damage. You can’t really go wrong with the early stages of the game if you have Sez in your team. Seriously, there isn’t much to add.

Destina

The reason you want to have Destina in both PvE AND PvP as well is that she is an incredibly versatile healer. Her auto attacks heal a percentage of her Max HP to the teammate with the lowest health. This means that even if her skills are on cooldown, she can still heal as long as she is not under any crowd controls. Since you’ll be building HP with her, you can also make her your off-tank of the team for most PvE situations, allowing one free slot in your party for additional damage.

PvE

Like most games, to start off you either want a character that can deal massive damage or heal your team to make up for the lack of damage. So, for Epic Seven the characters you’ll want for PvE will be either Sez or Destina. personally, I would aim for Sez considering during the launch of the global version, Destina is a pickup character.

PvP

For PvP, the top tier character is Kraus. His overall stats make him an absolute beast in PvP mode. as long as you have a decent 4* healer in your team, PvP wouldn’t be much of a problem until you hit the higher ranks. Paired with the fact that he deals more damage as his HP lowers, you really want him to be taking “some” damage in order to make the most out of him. Whilst yes, he’s also suitable in PvE, compared to Sez, the lack of damage will make clearing each stage a little longer.
