My Hero Academia Live-Action Stage Adaptation Announced

Following the previous live-action movie adaptation announcement, My Hero Academia has announced that a live-active stage adaptation of the series will be coming in Spring 2019!


The new stage adaptation will be titled, My Hero Academia The “Ultra” Stage. As of this moment, there has yet to be an announcement on the cast. The official website has only mentioned that Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi (元吉庸泰) will be involved in the project.

About the Series

My Hero Academia is a manga written by Kohei Horikoshi’s (堀越 耕平) and has been serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a plain student who works hard to be a superhero like his idol All Might. Despite having no superpower at all in a world where possessing special ability is the norm, he enters the elite hero school U.A. High School.
