Today, 10th January, 2017 Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the first color variation for the slimmer and lighter Standard PlayStation®4 (PS4™)(CUH-2000 series).
The new PS4 will give newcomers to the console an option between Jet Black and "Glacier White". Whilst the original Jet Black variation carries the traditional sleek PlayStation design, the "Glacier White" version features a more contemporary clean look.
The new variation will be available in Europe starting 24th January, 2017 with a 500GB HDD. The new color will be available in Japan on 23rd February, 2017 with both the 500GB HDD and 1TB HDD version.
