Today (24th June), Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia released a special commemoration video celebrating the 20th anniversary for the Ape Escape series.
In the newly released commemoration video, Sony recaps the all the games in the series, starting from the very first Ape Escape released for PlayStation in 1991.
In addition to the new video, Sony also launched an Ape Escape series 20th-anniversary official Twitter account. On 22nd June, the Twitter account also posted a special post with an ape peeking behind a tree and a caption that reads “Piposaru (it’s been 20 years. I have been running for the entire time, I wonder if there’s still anyone cashing me…?”
