SEGA GAMES revealed the release date of smartphone game Fist of the North Star LEGENDS ReVIVE (北斗の拳 LEGENDS ReVIVE) worldwide on 5th September.
▍Overview
Supervised by mangaka Tetsuo Hara (原 哲夫), the game will follow the original story of the manga and revive the signature scene with high-quality 3D graphics. Also, the game not only features famous characters from the manga, but will also include some “unexpected” minor characters from the series.
▍Game System
Following the concept of Hikō (pressure point) from the original series, players can unleash Kenshiro’s deadly secret techniques simply by tapping the smartphone at the right time.
You can also create your own personal dream team with large roster of playable characters including Kenshiro (ケンシロウ), Raoh (ラオウ) and Shin (シン).

▍About Fist of the North Star
Originally written by Buronson (武論尊) and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, the manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (週刊少年ジャンプ) from 1983 to 1988. The 245 chapters were initially collected in 27 tankobon volumes by Shueisha (集英社).
Set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by a nuclear war, the story centers on a warrior named Kenshiro, the successor of a deadly martial art known as Hokuto Shinken, which gives him the ability to kill most adversaries through aiming the human body’s secret vital point.
Fist of the North Star remains one of the best-selling manga series in history, having sold approximately 100 million copies. As of 2018, Fist of the North Star is one of the top twenty highest-grossing media franchises of all time, estimated to have generated more than $20 billion in total franchise revenue.
