[Qoo News] Koei Tecmo Showcases First Nioh 2 Demo Available at TGS2019

This year, Koei Tecmo will continue to showcase their latest titles at Tokyo Game Show (TGS). For TGS2019, visitors will be able to try out highly anticipated titles including Nioh 2 and Sangokushi 14!

Koei Tecmo has also launched a dedicated TGS website featuring their full line-up for the convention as well as their stage event schedule.

Following the success of the first Nioh, Nioh 2 will bring new challenges to players. The first playable demo will be showcased at TGS2019 and attendees will be able to try the game in three difficulties.

■ Sangokushi 14

Sangokushi 14 is the latest entry to the renowned Sangokushi series. Similar to Nioh 2, the first playable demo for the game will be showcased at Koei Tecmo’s booth at TGS2019. Sangokushi 14 boasts over 1000 characters, making it the entry with the most characters in the entire series.

■ Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout

Slated for 26th September, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout will be the third game with a playable demo at the Koei Tecmo Booth. The new game features a variety of different tools which players can use to collect materials for alchemy.

■ Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will include the main game as well as all the available DLCs that followed the release of the game, from additional characters to new stories. A stage event is scheduled for 15th September.

Already available for pre-registration Daikoukai VI is scheduled to launch for mobile this year. On 15th September 12:30 JST, a special live-stream will be broadcasted revealing new information for the game.

■ Monster Rancher

The original Monster Rancher (Monster Farm – モンスターファーム) will be ported to Nintendo Switch and Mobile (Android/iOS) this year. The game will be a paid game for 1900JPY. The Koei Tecmo booth will feature a trailer for the game, but there will be no stage event or live-streams.

■ Atelier Online: Alchemists of Braceir

Released as a celebratory game to commemorate the series’ 20th anniversary, on 14th September, Takako Tanaka (田中貴子) and Yuka Aisaka (相坂優歌) will appear at the Koei Tecmo main stage as guests for a stage event for the game.

■ Shin Sangokushi

Shin Sangokushi celebrates their first anniversary. A trailer for the game will be featured at the Koei Tecmo booth.

■ Yo-kai Sangokushi Kunitori Wars

A collaboration between the TV Anime series Yo-kai Watch and the Sangakushi series, Yo-kai Sangokushi Kunitori Wars is a mobile game where players can play the iconic SLG gameplay of the Sangokushi series with adorable Yok-kai Watch generals. The game will not feature a demo at TGS2019, but a trailer will be featured.
