Square Enix has brought back the classic SaGa franchise at Tokyo Game Show 2019. The latest work Imperial Saga Eclipse (インペリアル サガ エクリプス) is an Android/iOS/PC browser game to be released on Yahoo! Game Plus and DMM GAMES in 2019.
Imperial SaGa Eclipse consists of two major parts: story and battle. The game features a new universe named Dimirheim and old characters from previous Imperial SaGa games. Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song art director Yusuke Naora has returned to deliver the iconic SaGa art style once again.
Players will take control of a protagonist who goes by the name Liber. Gender is customizable.
Mysterious creature Amor will accompany players along the journey.
The battle part which is a command battle system is roughly similar to that of the previous Imperial SaGa titles, but there will be a few new elements here and there.
Pre-registration is now open. Players can pre-register via Yahoo! Game Plus, DMM GAMES, LINE (add official account as friend), Twitter (follow official Twitter account) and email.
