Legendary Producer Takashi Tokita Joins GameStart 2019!

It is once again the time of the year for GameStart to take place! Once again, GameStart invites a grand list of special guests to join and share memories with attendees! For the first time ever, attendees will also be able to experience a real-life RPG experience with “The Castle”.

GameStart 2019 will see a lot of changes in comparison to the previous years. To start, this year, all the major names in the gaming industry will be showcasing some of their latest and highly anticipated titles in the new “GameStart Demo Zone”. In this new zone, attendees will be able to try all sorts of games, from Ubisoft’s dangerously entertaining Just Dance 2020 to Tokyo RPG Factory’s compelling RPG title, ONINAKI. That’s not all, as GameStart 2019 approaches, you can expect to hear from Marvel, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia, Arc System Works, and Square Enix on what they have prepared.

As mentioned, “The Castle” will be a whole new themed adventure room game experience that attendees will be able to try out exclusively at GameStart 2019. Forming a party of four members, attendees will be able to embark on two story-based routs to find the sealed demon within the abandoned castle.

Alongside all the exciting new zones, familiar zones will be making a strong return. At the Tabletop Zone, alongside some of the classics, the spin-off tabletop game of the world-renowned mobile game, Fate/Grand Order (FGO), Fate/Grand Order -collection figure- will also be available thanks to Asobi, a concept store for hobby enthusiasts. Moaideas from Taiwan will also bring a wonderful collection of games to the Tabletop Zone this year.

Once again at the Founders Base, attendees will be able to find games from some of Aisa’s best indie developers. Additionally, GameStart’s partners including Taipei Game Show, Busan Indie Connect, Game Prime Asia, and BitSunmit will also make an appearance.

The Doujin Market – Doujima x GameStart Artist Alley will also be back for the fourth year running! In this vibrant zone, attendees will find some of the coolest fan-made creations from creators from around the region on some of their favorite video games and series.

Even heroes need to rest, to replenish your stamina bar, GameStart presents The Sanctuary. Featuring six delectable food stalls with hot tantalizing bites, a selection of craft beer from Canadian Craft Beer, and a range award-winning mead!

Following their trend of amazing guests, this year, GameStart invites Takashi Tokita, a renowned producer from Square Enix and the Creative Producer of Tokyo RPG Factory. He will be presenting his new game, ONINAKI, on the Main Stage on 12th October. Additionally, he will also be holding a special session, sharing his 30+ years of experience in the industry. Internet sensation Luna Lorrain will also be attending GameStart as a musical guest in Singapore for the first time! Taiwanese pianist V.K, best known for his work for Rayark Games’ Deemo, will also be performing on the GameStart Main Stage on 12th October.
