Published by CYBIRD, Liber Entertainment’s hit otome smartphone game “A3!” launches an English version yesterday (23rd October). The release is available worldwide outside of Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and China.
▍Overview
Player will be the director of a nearly collapsed theater group named “Mankai Company” in the smartphone game. In order to pay the debts of your missing father’s company, you recruit a wide range of theater actors, who are divided into four seasonally-named acting troupes.
The game has gained massive popularity in Asia for its hot-blooded and touching story documenting the struggles and friendship of the young actors. It has reached two million downloads within a month of its debut.
Two anime adaptations featuring Spring & Summer Troupe, and Autumn & Winter Troupe, is scheduled to premiere in January and July, 2020.
▍Gameplay
The fully-voiced story features renowned voice actors including Shirai Yusuke (白井 悠介), Eguchi Takuya (江口 拓也), Toyonaga Toshiyuki (豊永 利行), Kakihara Tetsuya (柿原 徹也), Sawashiro Chiharu (沢城 千春), Takeuchi Shunsuke (武内 駿輔), etc. Players can also collect stunning visuals as the story goes.
Players can collect and train the cards of different actors, with an aim to create the best stage play. Mini game featuring the chibi form of the characters are also available for players to earn enhancement materials.
▍Pre-registration Rewards
To celebrate the pre-registration reaches 10,000, new players will be rewarded with a total of 150 gems, which can be used to draw gacha, and training items. SR Masumi will also be rewarded to all players, according to a poll made in Twitter before the release.
▍A3! At C3 AFA Singapore 2019!
CYBIRD also announced to join the C3 AFA Singapore 2019 (C3 Anime Festival Asia Singapore), featuring “A3!” at their booth . The event originated in Singapore but has since spread to other parts of Southeast Asia. CYBIRD will be participating for the 3rd year in a row.
