During Sony Interactive Entertainment’s State of Play yesterday (10th December), the official release date for the Resident Evil 3 Remake was confirmed along with the latest trailer. It will release on 3rd April 2020. The previously announced online multiplayer mode “Project Resistance” will come in the same package.
Players will play as Jill as she tries to escape from Racoon City, where is full of zombies and Nemesis. From the trailer, the game will have an over-the-shoulder camera perspective that is similar to Resident Evil 2 Remake. Player will also play as Carlos in the game as they progress.
▍Resident Evil Resistance
The previously announced “Project Resistance” is now renamed as Resident Evil Resistance. It is a 4-versus-1 asymmetric online game. A team of four players will try to survive against the “Mastermind”.

▍About Resident Evil 3
It is the third title from Capcom’s Resident Evil series. It was originally released on PlayStation in 1999. The story follows Jill, a former S.T.A.R.S. member who tries to escape from Raccoon City.
